Plaz Tech Educational in Atlanta, GA Adds the MakerBot Replicator Mini+ Compact 3D Printer to Its Line of Products for Use in the Classroom

Since 2009, MakerBot has been at the forefront of 3D printing technology, each year, improving on the equipment and software that renders printed items, and aids to “transform the students of today into the innovators of tomorrow.”

Plaz Tech Educational in Atlanta, GA has been a MakerBot distributor since 2014, working primarily with Georgia school districts.  In addition to selling the product, Plaz Tech also offers related “how to” hands-on workshops intended for educators who will use the equipment in the classroom.

Standing with tradition, this year MakerBot has introduced the new MakerBot Repricator Mini+ 3D Printer, which offers easier, 58% quieter  and 10% faster 3D printing with 28% bigger build volume than previous versions. In addition, its portability enhances multi department/class use.

According to MakerBot, the new 3D printers and their subsystems have been “re-engineered and rigorously tested for 380,000 hours across multiple facilities.  For greater reliability, the Smart Extruder+ comes standard and key components within the printer are redesigned with stiffer materials and a sturdier construction.”
