Smart Car Kit for Arduino with Uno R3, Obstacle Avoiding, Line Tracing and Light Seeking. SunFounder’s complete learning kit based on Arduino technology.
Included with the kit is a user manual with codes and code explanations along with thorough schematic diagrams.
The SunFounder Uno R3 board is used as a control. The kit uses a step-down DC-DC converter module to reduce input voltage and a motor driver module with L298N. More importantly, a sensor shield is used so that more I/Os can be led out from SunFounder Uno, resulting in expanded functionality!
Sample sketches are provided to make the car move forward and backward and turn left and right, follow a line, seek light and avoid obstacles.
This kit provides an excellent opportunity to study Arduino (both code and applications), learn about the basic modules in electronics, and then use the knowledge learned to explore other options!
Working Voltage: 7V-12V; Powered by two 18650 rechargeable lithium batteries.
SunFounder’s Smart Car is a great platform to learn with robotics. The kit provides a variety of parts, step-by-step instructions, and the code necessary to assemble the Smart Cart by yourself.
Additionally, you can design your own movements beyond the basic one, supported by a sensor shield for other I/Os created by the SunFounder Uno, which allows more parts to be connected.
Before running the car, you need to calibrate the parts so they can work under the ambient environment. A calibration procedure is provided with the kit. Calibrating the Smart Car before running it, will allow for the functionality of all functions such as obstacle avoiding, line tracing, and light seeking, etc.
